An extensive Megalithic culture site [1500 years old] on the north side of the Hill. There used to be more than 85 ancient graves built by aboriginal people of Bangalore region. But due to Industrialization and New Air Port the site has been dismantled. The sad part is that Bangalore permanently lost its extensive and historical and archaeological site forever. Only One grave is remaining on the north-west of the hill near to Chikk-Jala village. The ancient graves stone slabs and boulders are dumped on the foot-hill [north]. The temple on the hill may be as old as the Megalithic Period i.e. 1500 years. The association of small ritual place and water stream are unique features of the Megalithic period culture.
