Kolli Hills ('Kolli malai') is a small mountain range located in central Tamil Nadu, in the district of Namakkal. The mountain ranges about 1000 to 1300 meters in height and covers an area of approximately 280 square km. Kolli Hills is part of the Eastern Ghats, which is a mountain range running mostly parallel to the east coast of South India. The mountains are relatively untouched by tourism and still retain their natural beauty.

  • There is a falls called "Aagasa Gangai" amidst the Kolli Hills, and where is also a temple called "Arapaleeswar" temple, dedicated to Lord "Muruga." The trek; first down to the falls and then up traversing the "Sidhar's " route is exhilarating. A trip very much worth it. One can go to the hills through Raasipuram, or from Tiruchi.

  • I have been to kolli hills for the past 20 years. It's a spritual place where siddhars are in meditation. Now a days it has been changed to tourist spot, and all malpractices are taking place. It's a holy place like rishikesh, haridwar. People coming to Kolli hills should help to preserve the nature and try to avoid plastics and other malpractice like drinking, smoking, etc.. and get the blessings of siddhars.

  • u never find a place like kolli hills, it is a excellent place for tourist with family members, really kolli hills people are very great to serve for other people during our visit at their place and they are innocent, if possible go and stay any one village in kolli hills, u will feel better experience. very little amount of money is enough to spent your time there. y i told like this i lived more than three years there yes i completed my Ph.D. in kolli hills for this purpose i was there.
