Founded in 1957, today the theater is among the leading puppet theaters in Bulgaria with an established name not only in Bulgaria but also abroad. Hundreds of performances have been performed in front of tens of thousands of spectators, and in 2012 it was the first puppet theater invited by the Bulgarian community in Ukraine to participate in the Festival of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bolgrad, Odessa Region.
