Fairview Peak Lookout

USFS lookout at summit, just over 6000 ft in elevation. Bohemia Mountain is just a short walk along a trail to the south at Bohemia Saddle.

The site is a former US Air Force Gap-filler radar site. From 1960 through 1965 this was the Disston Gap-filler. SAGE designator Z-12B. The concrete pad for the radar building is next to the lookout tower.
