The community of Prudhoe Bay (also known as Sagavanirktok) is an unorganized census-designated place (CDP) located adjacent to the Beaufort Sea in North Slope Borough, Alaska.(70.255°N -148.337°W) The population was 2,174 as of the 2010 census. The area houses several thousand transitory oil workers.
