The Brezovo winery was built in the vicinity of the town in 1958 In the past there was a very popular local wine from Misket Brezovo. The region produces white and red varietal wines from cabernet sauvignon, Mavrud, Merlot, Chardonnay, Muscat and Muscat red. Local wine is sold nationwide under the brands Bear blood, Sofia and birch.
