USA / New Jersey / Hoboken / New York City, New York
Gothic revival (architecture), 1850s construction, Roman Catholic church

Russian Catholic Parish of New York City located in the former chancery office of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York next door to the old St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was designed in 1859 by renowned New York architect James Renwick, Jr. who was the architect of St. Patrick’s (new) Cathedral on 5th Avenue, Grace Church and the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC.

For over half of its life, the building served as St. Michael’s Russian Catholic Church, the only one in New York. The parish moved in in 1936 and served in the increasingly large Russian community in the city. Recently, the church moved to the Upper East Side.
