Urukunnu is a beautiful small village in Kollam district, Kerala state, India. Urukunnu is on the bank of the river Kallada.. It lies 60 km to the east of Kollam, the district headquarters, and 14km to the east of Punalur on National Highway 744. It is 74 km north of Thiruvananthapuram, the state capital.
