Legacy Point (College Station, Texas)

Formerly known as University Square Shopping Center and anchored by a supermarket, the shopping center remained viable for over a decade and a half after its closure thanks to tutoring services, bars, and other amenities. In 2012, it began a process to reconfigure it and expand it, most notably demolishing most of the center and adding an apartment building. It renamed in 2013 but the sign seen above is still intact, for now. Even as of 2018 with Century Square growing fast, most of "Phase II" remains empty or under-utilized.
