The church is located in the centre of the town of Gotse Delchev, behind the Nevrocop Hotel. It is a monument of culture of local significance. The church was built in 1838. It is a building with a nave and two aisles, a pseudo-basilica with a well-expressed open-air gallery. The iconostasis has an exceptional value. Part of the icons was painted by the famous Dimitar Molerov – Molera, who was in the Bansko iconography school. Many icons from the Bulgarian national Revival are preserved in the church.
