The Red Chris copper/gold property is owned by Imperial Metals Corporation and is located 80 km south of Dease Lake in Tahltan traditional territory in northwest British Columbia. Access to the site is 20 km from Highway 37. The Red Chris Project is comprised of two components, the Red Chris claims and the Red claims. The Red Chris claims consist of 50 mineral tenures that contain 528 cells and cover 9,688.98 hectares. Red Chris Development Company Ltd. (“RCDC”) has a 100% interest in the Red Chris claims and all or portions of 32 claims are subject to a 1.8% net smelter return royalty (“NSR”) held by Xstrata Canada Corporation (successor to Falconbridge Limited). RCDC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Imperial Metals. The Red claims are 100% owned by Imperial and they cover the northern part of the project consisting of 18 mineral claims that contain 428 cells and cover 7,305.02 hectares.
