on the southside of the road there is an unobtrusive memorial, about shoulder high, with a protective shell affording some shelter to the objects left there over the years. there are photos of men in ww II uniforms, mothers, little key fobs, toys and such. perhaps if you are travelling through, just to see this beautiful country, you might leave a note or a momento.
