The Lions` Bridge (Lavov Most) is a bridge over the Vladaya River located in the central part of Sofia, at the juncture of Marie Louise Boulevard and Slivnitsa Boulevard (no far away of Sofia railway station). It was built in period 1889-1891 by the Czech architect Václav Prošek, his brother Jozef and his cousins Bohdan and Jiří at the place of an older bridge (Sharen most). The name of Lions` Bridge comes from the four bronze sculptures of lions, situated at its four corners.
