2nd BATTALION - 104TH AVIATION REGIMENT

The 2/104th Aviation Battalion was formed in October, 1990 at Fort Indiantown Gap as an Assault Helicopter Battalion. 2d Battalion modernized from a UH-1 Huey Aviation Battalion to a UH-60 Blackhawk General Support Aviation Battalion in 2002. Currently, 2d Battalion is undergoing transformation. In addition to the UH-60 Blackhawks, the new structure includes CH-47 Helicopters and a MEDEVAC unit
