You sit on a bench at the station and enjoy a beautiful view of green fields and the Western ghats on the horizon. The breeze that blows here is to experinced to be beleived.

I agree with with Mr. Venkatachalam. The breeze has to be expericned to be beleived! My parents Muthkrishnan (Rajamani) and Rajalakshmi (Rajathi) now live in RVS. I have not had the pleasure of visiting RVS every year for summer vacations, but I have always gone back with great memories. Pazedu-vadu maanga afternoons, the bathes in the aathankarai, Meenakshi amman temple festivals, railway station, trips to Courtrallam, Papanaasam and Sivasailam will always bring back fond memories of another time, even if I am typing away, trying to meet a deadline in Los Angeles!

Meenakshi, I can understand your memories.. Good to see a girl from such small town of Tamil Nadu in Los Angeles. Let us try to do something back to our rural backbone of India.
