இதற்கான காரணம் - சிற்பி இதைச் செதுக்கியபோது (நந்தி) தானாக எழுந்ததாகவும், அதனால் சிற்பி அடித்ததாகவும், இதன் காரணமாக நந்தியின் மேற்பாகத்தில் பள்ளம் இருப்பதாகவும் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

During my boyhood I used to attend all the festivals of the temple.The new Pillayar temple near the Muppidathi Amman temple was constructed by our family. The Muppidathi Amman temple was constructed due to the great efforts of our father during 1964. The festivals of Paramakalyani temple and our boyhood activities are still in green memory. A place for peace lovers. For peaceful and pious living this is the best suited. place.
