This is the aircraft manufacturing facility the started in the late 1930's as the Vultee aircraft plant. Many WW2 Consolidated Vultee aircraft rolled off the line here, including some Lockheed P-38 Lighting fighters. In continuious operation since opening, the plant now manufactures wing assemblies for various Airbus airlines and Grumman Gulfsteam jets under the Vought corporate name.
