One of the very famous and historic temples in Karnataka.
Someshwara temple, which is one of Bangalore's oldest temples dates back to the Chola period with several additions made during the Vijayanagar period by the founder of Bangalore, Kempegowda. The interesting thing is you can see the architectural elements from both these periods quite clearly in the temple. Ulsoor is, of course, one of Bangalore's oldest settlements.
It is also known that Sri Ramachandra worshipped at this temple on his way to Lanka during the times of Ramayan.
There are various places within the main temple, where it is known to produce very positive and strong vibrations. Many people meditate at these places within the Main temple.
