The presiding diety is arthanareeswarar,Half Shiva and Half Parvathi form.The temple was built by Morur "Suryakangeyan" who belongs to morur kannan kulam of kongu naatu vellala gounders.

  • The road to the hill is about one K M from bus stand. If you go to hill by your own vehicle go through the namakkal main road from bus stand and you can view the arch showing the starting of the road on your right side. If yu wish to go by temple bus, go to the Ther Nilayam by walk and you can get bus from there
