The estate (Gut) Cramon was taken over from the monastery Malchow. At the end of the 19th century it became a rental estate (Pachtgut) with over 1400 ha with a large amount of cattle. The estate was taken over by the Freestate (Freistaat) Mecklenburg-Schwerin as a farm (Domäne). The estate was expropriated in 1945 after the communist take-over of East Germany. The main building (Gutshaus) was demolished in 1978, as were many other accompanying buildings.
