Monarch Place is the tallest skyscraper in Springfield, Massachusetts at 401 ft. (122 meters.) Completed in 1987, the building is named for Monarch Insurance Company, which was headquartered in Springfield, until the company went bankrupt while constructing this mirrored, post-modern tower.

As of 2011, Monarch Place is the 5th tallest tower in Western New England. (The 4 tallest skyscrapers are in Hartford, Connecticut. The 6th tallest structure is in New Haven, Connecticut.)
