Buffalo's tallest building and the tallest commercial building in New York State outside of New York City at 40 stories, the One Seneca Center was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in the International style"brutalist" tradition. Spanning the Metro Rail Main Street tracks, the building is now a multi-tenant space following the 2013 departure of the former majority landlord; HSBC Bank.
