A residential colony , popularly known as Kittumaman Nagar. Cadet Avenue is also the name of the 750 m long muncipal road passing through the colony , which connects the main road (SH 25) and the Ladies Hostel Road. The road was laid by NCC cadets from various parts of India as a part of the NCC national camp at Govt. College Chittur in December 1994. The colony attributes its existence to this very road . Now this is one of the much sought after residential area in Chittur. At present there are over 23 houses with in this colony. Cadet Avenue Residential Association is a member driven society which works with in the community .
