As the name implies, this was Glasgow's original Sheriff Court before it was replaced by the current one in the Gorbals in 1986. They still let the the old one out as a film set (it appears in Mark McManus-era episodes of Taggart), until they let it lie derelict and unloved until the early 2000s when it was converted into posh apartments.
