Tradeston is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated on the south bank of the River Clyde, bounded by Bridge and Eglinton Streets on the east and West Street to the west. As of 2008 the area is run down and consists of warehouses and similar businesses, some of which are set for demolition as part of the proposed M74 Extension. Some new flats have been built along the river bank and plans for a new footbridge costing £40M have been announced by the council.
