So named because it used to be an academic building for the University of Strathclyde called the J.P Todd Building (one of three campus buildings to bear the name "Todd") - when the departments that occupied it moved into the new Robertson Trust Wing on Cathedral Street in 1998, it was sold to a developer who built an extension to it as luxury flats.
