A-4 Skyhawk attack jet, painted in the blue and gold paint scheme of the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels demonstration team.
The paint scheme, including yellow stripe markings along the top of the fuselage, and "U.S. Navy" on the bottom of the wings, was designed by Robert L. Rasmussen.

  • Above are a couple of photos of the bird, sitting at Cable. Supposedly it's a real ex-"Angel" but, I have no numbered info on it other than it's possibly Bu.No.142227 that will eventually be headed to Hawthorne Municipal for restoration.
