Situated in Anykščiai district municipality, covers area of 15212 hectares. Established in 1992 to preserve unique nature and cultural complexes of Anykščiai country. Park direction is settled in Anykščiai city.
There are many museums of lithuanian writers - Antanas Baranauskas, Jonas Biliūnas, Antanas Vienuolis. Horse museum is settled Niūronys. Anykščiai has an authentic ol town, with the highest church in Lithuania. Visitors can drive on narrow gauge railway Anykščiai-Rubikiai. There are many mounds, historians predict that the first capital of Lithuania - Voruta, where King Mindaugas could live in Šeimyniškėliai mound former castle. Anykščiai forest is a nature monument, where the most famous rock in Lithuania - Puntukas is located.
