Reservoir Rakovitsa is located 25 km away from the town of Hissar and just 1 km away from the famous all over the world Thracian cult temple in the village of Starossel. The dam is used for fishing mostly. The waters of dam “Rakovitsa” are home for different fish species such as the carp, sheat-fish and trout. The banks of dam “Rakovitsa” offer wonderful opportunities for family picnics and outings with friends. The tourists are offered a water wheel.
