Former mining village of Poorman in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area of Alaska, 44 miles south of Ruby, AK.
Poorman was founded in 1913 as a gold mining camp along the Iditarod trail. A post office was maintained from 1915 to 1932. There is a crude airstrip that serves recreational mining in the area.
