  • I was surfing without a leash here once when I bailed off a wave which took my board about 200 yards towards the shore. On the horizon I saw a figure grab it and start swimming towards me. It was District Attorney Paul Gallegos. Thank you Super DA and sorry about that recall thing.

  • I was fishing on the very end of the jetty right down on the waterline when a sneaker wave got me. It was a direct hit so it smashed me up against the rocks instead of knocking me off the jetty. Caught the fish though!
  • this is where a 25 yr old man got bit by a shark in fall 2012 ! WATCH OUT
  • the surf here is gnarly, must be experiecned and ready to battle tough current
