Marula Platinum Mine - Clapham Shaft

This the the Clapham Decline Shaft of the Marula Platinum Mine as it is located on the portion of the Marula mine that leases the Clapham 118 KT farm. As of November 2011 this shaft is used to mine the UG2 Reef and it will eventually reach a depth of 770 metres. Clapham was sunk on-reef from the outcrop at a minor dip of 9.5 degrees with three portal entries.
