This lease is owned and managed by Jubilee Platinum which has a balanced portfolio of advanced and early stage prospective PGE assets, covering some 5700 hectares in the western and eastern limbs of the Bushveld Complex in South Africa.
The Company holds a 63 % beneficial interest in its advanced Tjate project, its prime asset, which covers some 5140 hectares in the eastern Bushveld Complex. The project has been independently estimated, as an exploration target, to hold potentially some 65 million oz (41 million oz attributable) PGEs and gold (after geological losses).
The Company has completed a SAMREC Code-compliant resource estimate over the Dsjate farm (“First Mine” area) using The Mineral Corporation Ltd as its Competent Person and based on an initial 42-borehole drilling programme totaling about 65 000 metres. It also carried out an initial mine study including mine design and preliminary mineralogical/ metallurgical testwork.
