Cabot Tower

A stone tower erected in 1897 to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of John Cabot's discovery of Newfoundland and the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. From this site (at about 600 feet above sea level) atop Signal Hill there are stunning views of St. John's Harbour and the surrounding seascape.
