"Coin" Harvey came to Northwest Arkansas in 1899 and in 1900 bought 320 acres of land (in the community previously named Silver Springs) on which he created a resort which he named Monte Ne. Interred in this tomb are Harvey's son Hal (who died in a railroad accident in Oklahoma in 1903) and Harvey. The tomb was originally built by Big Springs Lake, but it was moved here by the US Army Corps of Engineers when they built Beaver Dam, creating Beaver Lake.
