  • I think it's Allen Army Airfield...Has this facility been closed or something?
  • I believe Don is correct and it is Allen Army Airfield, which can be found on AirNav as PABI. The airfield used to be called Big Delta (BIG), even though it is actually located in Delta Junction. I have an old U.S. Signal Corps aerial photo, captioned "Big Delta", that looks very similar to your satellite image and gives coordinates of 64.00 N, 145.44 W.
