Former For Profit Building of M. Ignatvev (Moscow)

The high residential building at the corner with Leontyevsky lane, 14 (the Eliseevsky lane, 9) consists of construction occurring at several different times: the bottom three floors were constructed in 1886 by the architect A. P. Beloyartsevev (rebuilt in 1892 by architect Zagorsky), and upper floors appeared in 1912.

In 1909 the architect A. G. Kondratenko altered the facade of the profitable house of M.Ignatyev.

In 1932-1936 the architect M. A. Posokhin in association with "Sojuzstandartzhilstroj" (Union of Standard Residential Building) reconstructed the building for ЖСК (the Residential Building Cooperative). Additional modifications were made in the 1970s.
