In the heart of the Rhodopes, 260 km from the capital and 15 km from Smolyan, one of the most beautiful and majestic peaks of Bulgaria is located - Snezhanka. With its 1,925.8 meters, it is the highest peak in the resort of Pamporovo. Sunny days here are more than 240, the climate is mild.
The average annual temperature is 8.5°C, and the thickness of the snow cover is 140-150 cm. Numerous ski slopes start from the top.
