USCG Station Valdez is a small boat station in the US Coast Guard's 17th District, Sector Anchorage. Holding the destinction of being the Coast Guard's Northernmost Small Boat Station, Valdez is tasked with protecting the economically vital Alyeska Pipeline Terminal and for providing Homeland Defense, Search & Rescue, Law enforcement, and Waterborne security the northernmost ice-free port in North America.
