Wyra is a beautiful place sorrouding with a big reservior.Wyra has been alloted a new Assembly Segment (was a part of "Madhira" assembly segment until 2004 State Elections).
The lake is located two kilometres of the Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam highway and surrounded by greenery.The reservior was built by the Nizams. It's water is unpolluted and potable.It serves nearly 20000 acres for cultivation and provides drinking water for 70 villages.
The town is famous for "Lord Ayyappa Temple" located on the highway between Wyra and Khammam.

    wyra is an excellent town .In wyra there is a temple which is very big and it contains seven sub temples in it .I hope that every one should go to that temple,and also in wyra there is a reservoir which has a guest house also.The reservoir is awesome.being a citizen of wyra ,i am proud of it.
