This is a one-of-a-kind bar (and café) that could only be found in New Orleans. You can sit and have a Pimm's Cup (their famous cocktail) and listen to classical music in an incredible ambiance. Originally the home of Nicolas Girod (mayor of New Orleans from 1812-15), he offered his home to Napoleon during his exile. Napoleon never showed, but the name stuck. Great place!

The house, which was known historically as the Girod House, was built in 1797 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
