Closest thing the crowded UTA campus has to a traditional college quad. Bounded by the central library, the science building, and University Hall this area was originally the main entrance to the campus (back when Cooper Street ran at street level). Now hemmed in by the retaining walls and bridges of Cooper Street it is a somewhat closed in area. Nevertheless it is the central meeting area of campus and is used almost daily for student activities.
