Site of a new tower swing ride 400 ft (120m) set for opening in the summer of 2013. The site was originally the "Texas Chute Out" - a parachute ride which opened in 1976 and was 200 ft (61m) tall. One of Six Flags' feature rides, the Texas Chute Out was imploded on October 10, 2012, to make way for the Texas SkyScreamer.

  • Shuts down whenever it gets a little windy.
  • That's something I've never done, but have always wanted to. I guess I was never there when it wasn't windy.
  • the texas chute out sucks to operate, especially on thoes packed days, people complain about how slow we work. and they dont take into count that we are only human and that 110 degree weather is hitting us as well as them and that the 7.25 an hr wont make us feel any better!!!!
