One of the best-known and most popular Kosher-style delis in NYC: famous for huge corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Quintessential "New York Deli" experience. USA Today has called the restaurant the most famous deli in the United States. It closed in December 2016 and its iconic yellow sign was taken down shortly thereafter.
