Bar world famous for its "Hurricane" [rum] drink.

The original location is on St. Peter's (next to Preservation Hall), but it also has a large garden court and a storefront connecting it to Bourbon St.

It manages to escape being complete tourist fluff.

  • My friends could stay there for the entire trip. I enjoy it, but can only drag them out after hours and hours. We've sat through many shift changes of singers. Sure its touristy, but locals enjoy it too.
