Commerical Center....its area with almost all company's head offices n service centres..its also a good market for electronics and many other equipments..
it more occupied by offices but still there are many shopping centres for various items..

  • i'm not sure but my own perception is " as this area does not fall in any sector, tht way its called blue....llz..more explanation..?? blue color represents universality or ..for all in other words...this may be analogy...n let me clear this particular area is blue area markete..otherwise its a full strips throughout all sectors..that is the neutral area between any two sectors is called blue area
  • Its called "Blue area" because of all the greenery (the green belts). Why not "Green Area"? Because in many languages, blue is synonymous with green, especially with reference to nature.

  • Most commercial areas are given a specific color marking in the original master plan of Islamabad eg., blue area, mauve area etc.
