Rawlinsville Camp Meeting is located in the beautiful river hills of southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The annual two-week camp session provides spiritual awakening and refreshment to those who attend. Countless people have heard and experienced the forgiveness and grace of a Savior who gave His life to save and redeem at Rawlinsville Camp Meeting.
The camp session affords the opportunity to grow in love and knowledge of our Lord. Jesus himself frequently withdrew with His disciples from the crowd and went away for times of spiritual replenishment. Camp meeting brings a wholesome break from the hectic pace of modern life, as camp attendees retreat to the primitive camp setting and concentrate on things pertaining to the kingdom of God. Services and programming for all ages is offered throughout the day. Some families live in small white cabins which line the avenues of the camp grounds for the entire two week camp session. Others commute from their homes to participate in all that the camp has to offer. Most folks return year after year and find joy and encouragement in the fellowship of other believers.
Rawlinsville Camp Meeting was founded in 1886 thru the joint effort of several United Methodist Churches ministering in southern Lancaster County. The camp belongs to and is managed by a volunteer association comprised primarily of members from 14 United Methodist Churches. You will find the camp to be evangelistic and missionary in character, and made up of people from a variety of denominations.
