Located near Dillsburg, Pennsylvania on the York and Cumberland County border, Camp Tuckahoe has served as the council's summer camp home since 1948. With 1,300 acres of lush wooded hills, Tuckahoe is a Scout camp rich in the purest traditions of Scout camping while offering campers of all ages outstanding challenges and adventures.

Tuckahoe has been transformed for the 21st century through $4.5 million worth of new construction and renovations that were completed in 2003. With the addition of a new dining hall, swimming pool, bath house, Cub World and many other new additions, Tuckahoe has been reshaped into one of the finest Scout camping facilities found anywhere in the United States.

On April 1st, 2010, the York-Adams Area council merged with the neighboring Keystone Area Council to for the New birth of Freedom Council.
