Estate home designed c. 1933 in the Georgian Revival by Mott B. Schmidt and Mogen Tvede on originally 72 acres of land for Jeremiah Clarke, Sr {Industrialist}. Clarke served as president of Central Concrete Co. of Brooklyn and chairman of the board of the Audley Clarke and Straclar holding companies. Subsequently owned by Walter McClure {financier} who called the estate "Tall Trees". McClure served as partner of the McClure, Jones & Co. stock brokerage firm.
