This is the former Technical High School it has sat vacant for almost 20 years now. This building was built in 1915 and served as the Technical High School untill the late 1980's. Most recently it has been the proposed site for a Massachusetts state data backup center. This building for now sits vacant and police monitor the place 24/7 to keep people out from doing drugs in there or other illegal things. This building is haunted it was haunted even when it was the school students teachers and janitors then noticed unatural white mists and a feeling of an evil presents and not being wanted there.

Springfield - Old Technical High School Building the abandoned building used to be a popular hang out for school skipping teenagers from Commerce High. reports of strange happenings have been reported. Large shadows/silhouettes of an abnormal human shape have been seen appearing in windows and changing floors in a blink of an eye. Inside the building noises like footsteps are heard in the attic from the third floor and bricks and other heavy obgects fly out of nowhere. This was more than an old building with creeks there is something very evil and most likely harmful inside this building. the grounds are posted with no trespassing notices and police do take notice!
This was taken from a website that lists haunted places in Massachusetts it states the orginal text that the building was demolished but it is wrong it still stands today to see the original text click the link below.

  • I went to tech, graduated 1969. I heard that the place was considered haunted, but I never heard or have seen apparitions. It was a 'Great' school to go to, glad I was part of it. I'm also happy to see that the building will still see use after all these years. i don't live in Springfield anymore, but when I return to visit, I always swing down Eliot st. and look at it (tech), brings back memories and all. I'm sure it serve the new owners as well as it served us, the many generations of students and faculty, good to see they don't tear everything down.
